The job keeps the scope
Every service, person, hour, product, quantity, and price stays attached to the work it belongs to.
Portara knows what is on the job, what you have already invoiced, and what is still left to bill—down to the percentage of each item.

This is where Portara is different.
Portara tracks every item in the job—what has been billed, what hasn’t, and how much remains. Open the job and your next invoice is already organized.
Every service, person, hour, product, quantity, and price stays attached to the work it belongs to.
If you invoiced 50% earlier, Portara shows the 50% remaining. New items are ready to bill at 100%.
Fully invoiced items stay out. Remaining items are selected with the correct amount ready to review.
A basic invoice tool
“What should I bill this time?”
You check the old invoice, compare it with the estimate, remember what changed, and build the next invoice yourself.
Portara
“Here is exactly what remains.”
Open the job, click Create Invoice, review the remaining items Portara selected, and click Create Invoice again.
The job remembers
That matters when the work changes, you bill in stages, or a deposit only covers part of the job.
Add the labor and products you expect. Change them as the real work changes.
Invoice 50% of selected products now, or bill different percentages item by item.
Add another day, more materials, or a newly approved item without starting over.
Portara shows the 50% balance on earlier items and 100% of the new ones, already selected.
A simple yes for the client

The question every service business gets
Portara keeps the answer at the bottom of the job: every deposit, invoice payment, refund, the current job total, and the balance due.
Include the account summary on every client invoice and they see the same clear story—including what their balance will be after this invoice is paid.
Fewer payment questions. Fewer awkward calculations.
The owner and the client are looking at the same running account—not two different versions of the job.
